Some news on disks and cameras:

New Sony camera that uses a disk - but it's a conventional floppy - the article didn't actually say 3 1/2" but it said "the disk can be removed from the camera and directly used on most PCs or Macintosh computers".

Makes sense that for a low-cost camera, using a disk (which I still think is a bad idea...) you wouldn't want to drive the cost up by requiring the user to buy a new drive for their PC.
