Nothing that I know of, if CBMI was agreeable, and Biogen had enough cash.

But in general, this doesnt happen unless there is some apparently compelling symmetry (as with Novartis and Chiron, for instance). And as long as there is some uncertainty about the value of the CBMI franchise, BGEN has every reason to keep CBMI working hard - to meet the milestones that will make them both a pile of cash.

I think its called keeping them honest.
