Try long-term strategies for awhile and you'll learn that you won't need an accountant. But I realize that you prefer to focus on the sort of things that give you tax write-offs, such as accountants and losses.

At your suggestion, I did try your long term strategies. My accountant (the one who eats guys like Roy Lewis for lunch) had advised me to take my money out and put it in long term government bonds, and I was thinking of cashing out in March 2000. That was when you told me your revered theory of being fully invested at all times.
