I think that the magnitude of the warning is quite notable. Chambers "Csco never built models that anticipated something of this magnitude". Magnitude is everything here. They wrote down 2.5B of 4.1B of inventory to take them back to the inventory levels that they reported just two months ago. That means that they should have just closed up shop.
