You have nailed it X. This is one of the things that is at the crux of differences between the left and the right.

"and peace is conducive to laziness and people who seek comfortable lives) it behooves me to make an impact on as many people as I can to bring them around to my way of thinking."

When one is aware of injustice in the world, a disharmony takes grasp of the conscience. Well, you have to believe in a principle based justice system that is universally applicable to feel moved by a just cause. Otherwise you can simply and laxatively make remarks such as "Who's truth?" or "Who's justice?" I can see how this would relieve some people of the responsibility to act on behalf of a just cause and provide a modicum of relief in the stresses of life. Some people can only have peace when they believe justice is being served and that they have no particular role in acting on its behalf. I for example do not understand Peace except in the context of Justice.
