but even henry ford realized that people who don't work can't buy his cars...so if technology takes us too far into that grey area where most people are no longer needed maybe there won't be enough people with enough disposable income to afford the technologies, thereby being that double edged sword and killing it. this country has shifted into low paying service jobs where once it was good paying manufacturing jobs. what's next? head of families fighting for the better street corners to run their shoe shine booths? i don't know...just a passing thought.
