It's not just the overt supidity of Bush that is dismaying, it is the closet stupidity of his advisors. Take Powell for example. He's been told what a great guy he is so much that he walks around like a pidgeon with his chest puffed out. The Powell doctrine will save the world. Only when put to the test against China it was clear that Powell couldn't call for overwhelming force so he had to settle to do nothing. That is the Powell stupidity doctrine and that's why the little test of wills with China was lost before the election was over. The losers that Bush surrounds himself with don't realize how clueless they are. TP
