Pompsander,

4H and 6H are two different crystalline structures. In each case the atoms
are arranged in an hexagonal structure, where the number relates to the number
of crystalline layers before the structure repeats itself.

If each distinct layer of atoms is represented by a letter, with the same
letter re-used if another layer has exactly the same arrangement of atoms,
then the stacking sequences are as follows:

4H 6H

ABAC ABCACB

The physical and electrical properties of the two types are slightly
different (there are other structures (15R, 21R as well), but Cree don't
make them).
