Ok, I closed my MSFT call position today, and have gone short. 12 points in a week is just too much profit to leave on the table.

The last week was the biggest short squeeze MSFT has seen in 12 months, easily.

MSFT is the only big cap tech stock that has not utterly collapsed or admitted their earnings are going into the shitter. CSCO just admitted they will barely break even in the 3rd quarter, and tomorrow INTC will likely give horrible numbers.. (P4 prices cut by 50% is what i'm hearing)

So how anyone can think that this huge slowdown in tech is not going to effect microsoft, i just don't understand. The stock is up around 40% since the beginning of the year, as the nasdaq cratered. The only possible explanation is that fund managers have ALL literally crammed into MSFT as the ultimate safety stock while everything has collapsed.

When those funds look for the exits, I can see a 10 dollar down day easily.
