Thanks for the information--I think it's important to get viewpoints from all directions. I also just read an editorial in the very latest Financial World magazine that says the trend will be for online services to be acquired by larger companies--telephone and cable companies, and perhaps some large computer companies. They believe internet access will soon be a standard part of communications packages offered to consumers. The telephone and cable companies, particularly, will have network structures. Financial World suggests that instead of looking at pure Internet plays, larger, diversified companies with Internet exposure may be a better investing idea. This sounds very logical to me.
