Now this is bad...Winstar Comms (WCII) 0.35 +0.08: Company says that it did not make interest payments of $75 mln that were due on debt securities today, and that Lucent (LU) has declared a default under the terms of Winstar's facility with Lucent. Winstar says that it has retained The Blackstone Group to advise it on restructuring its debt, and is also considering a Chapter 11 filing.
