"Fixed wireless is susceptible to a variety of problems (including bad weather)" Huh? Fixed wireless is no more susceptible to bad weather than cellular phones. Maybe your grandfathers fixed wireless network that was designed and installed by the volunteer fireman who moonlights as a wireless pro had such problems but not the systems currently being deployed and certainly not the improved systems that are coming to market. That is like saying: "this mobile phone thing will never take off because the phones crackle, pop and hiss with noise and fade in and out as you drive. , , Naw, that new fangled watchamacallit wireless stuff will never work. Give me my good 'ol pots phone and a long wire and I'll be peachy fine."
