Lisa, you may waste money on your staddle. DELL has average $4 price range and option will be traded in $2 price range. Minus $3/8 ask and bid spread to get in and out position. You only get $ 1 5/8. if you day trading staddle, in $4 price range, every peny you earn in one direction and you will loss same amount in the other direction unless you can figure out when you sell call or put. If you know when to sell, why waste money on the other half.

I favorite staddle is for earning suprise. I did twice on CSCC and once on DELL.
