From what I have heard and seen so far I think the site is much much more compatible with the interests of crooks than SI is or ever was. That may change.

I agree 100%. Bob's basically a good guy and a missed SI personality, and I wish him nothing but success in his new venture. Unfortunately, I also believe removing all benefit of doubt from the community members and placing the power in the CoB's hands does make the site more compatible with those who have an agenda; particularly those who are trying to promote or hype their subscription based sites. One former SI guru has already demonstrated their complete lack of control with respect to CoB powers, and ihub has not show any interest in controlling the problem. I find it interesting that those who have subscription sites continue to use public sites for "intraday updates" when they could clearly afford their own private forums. Clearly, their motivations are to hype, advertise, and draw in new subscribers. (Note that I don't mind when something of value is offered in the public forum quid pro quo. Often this hasn't been the case.)

All that said, I like reading Bob's thread because it's entertaining. The rest I don't follow as I have plenty to keep up with here; especially my beloved BTTT thread. Eventually, I'll find a new source of entertainment and move on.

For those respected thread heads (Brandon, etc.) that have chosen to leave SI, I'm sorry to see you go and hope you'll reconsider. SI still offers more features and (in my opinion) has a great, self-policing community. We do not need any Big Brother policies here.
