It's just this sort of cavalier "screw them" attitude which has kept so many of our children locked in cycles of ignorance. Lack of education effects a lot more than just what job you have. Education gives you hope, allows you to understand the world around you, and opens up windows of opportunities.

Everyone in society pays a price for an ignorant adult who cannot read or write.
