Hi Robert, I think, in all fairness, that some of the "critical opinion" has no basis in fact, but simply people who prefer to run the threads and make negative comments with nothing to back up their statement. I have always thought that whether it is a positive remark or a negative remark, it is worthless if it has nothing to back it up. I am one, who will go right at a person if he can't answer his own statement, and instead just rants on, without answering legitimate questions, or who makes unequivocal statements such as this stock is garbage, or comments to that effect. I don't consider that flaming when you respond to that type.
I am very suspect of people who will come out of nowhere onto a thread and start trashing a stock, and have nothing of value to add. It doesn't have to be positive, but even then I want to know who, what, where, when, and why? I like people, who, when they post give a factual or reasoned statement rather than just an opinon with nothing to back it up. When we talk about helpful tips in playing the market that is a totally different thing. I think that is much appreciated by all investors. We are all here for the same goal, and that is to make money. When you are talking about a company, then they have facts to deal with, and that's what investors need to make intelligent decisions, not some ranter.
By the way, Robert, you should have a look at the news release for MGR about the new mining laws in Mongolia, and how they will increase profitability for all mining companies doing business over there including MGR. I wouldn't write this one off. It fits many of Eric's criteria. I think in times like this we have to be as cautious as possible, but not write them all off, because there are still many good plays out there to be had, as well as many more dogs. We can't allow ourselves to become so cynical that we can't see the forest for the trees.
Cheers
