Ah, the label thing. Most of my life I considered myself an atheist. Just recently, via the discussion on this thread, and after much resistance, I concluded that I was an agnostic after all.

I think the words posted by Steven could have come from either an atheist or an agnostic. Given that 90% of the people in this country are believers, I'm becoming less inclined to devote the energy into the fine distinction between a "soft-core atheist" and an "agnostic." As I said to CH, either label is fine with me. I'm really simply secular or nonreligious.
