Fin, Intel offers FORTRAN and C++ compilers which automatically add SSE2 optimizations to software... Are you aware of any commercial software house using the Intel compiler? given that DDR and RDRAM are at roughly the same price point Not even close, and P4 requires dual channel. Scumbria
