As to MU's huge inventory, I remember reading something about the conference call they said the increase in inventory was due to increased bit yields.
Based on the current spot, one might think things have stabilized and we just need demand now. Also there is some product transitions going on like DDR that could contribute
to some mix issues. Oversupply of Rambus maybe brewing due to Intel pushing Samsung/Tosh/Elpida to produce way more than the market needs might push Rambus down but not far enough.
No one has commented on how much Cisco inventory has , but an article this morning said they have $2B in semis, but did not say what type of product or whether it was already built into something or can be returned or sold in the market.
