Skeeter: It will hurt, but in the long run their is no voodoo economics which conjures up wealth without improvement in productivity -- and that is what the "new economy" stands for. Unfortunately, it became the playground of stock speculators who have no idea whatsoever how productivity improvement takes place and how it is financed and sustained in the long run. Living beyond your means and playing the game of "if we just keep buying tulips we'll all be rich" was fun for a couple of years, but it has NOTHING to do with the "new economy". NOTHING.
