>>"Experience is what you get when you don't get what you want."<<

<<chuckle>>... that would be the "bad" part of the experience... eh?

But thinking about it, if experience is what you get when you don't get what you want, "bad" as it may, it is still a building block of better thing to come. Assuming you pay heed to those "bad" experience and resolve to learn from it.

Sometimes, in the context of life, "bad" experience is a prerequisite to getting what you want. It not only enhances the value of your success in getting what you want; it also humbles you once you finally get what you want.

In short, for those who pay attention to their experience, good and bad, instead of dwelling in their euphoria or anger (or sadness, self-pity, etc.) will find a balance in their life that help cultivate a peaceful mindset.

Therefore, I look forward to "bad" experience. It's the only path to self-improvement and growth. A necessary ingredient to spice up our life, so to speak.

:-)
