LarsA, I don't think Qcommies hate GSM, but those of us that have followed the QCOM story remember the attacks from the GSM proponents. Both ERICY and NOK maintained that they didn't need QCOM's IPR for WCDMA. Now NOK claims it doesn't need a new license agreement. The Q zealots didn't just wake up one morning hating the GSM guild, there has been a concerted effort to thwart the proliferation of CDMA. However, I agree with you it's time to get over it! Lars, it is statements like this that offend Qcommies <<They are QCOM customers already. But that's not enough apparently - they also have to buy the chips and the BREW and what not, from QCOM.>> I assume you know that BREW is licensed without charge and regardless of technology and there is no requirement to purchase chips from QCOM. So what is the point of your statement. Pete
