Hi!!

RE: Efficiency/DELL Model

Below is a link that describes why DELL is keeping their margins low in an attempt to "buy" the others over the next 7 quarters...I was told that DELL could possibly gain 80% of all the new business over this time frame by doing such...The estimated sacrifice of $6B in revenues over that time frame could literally "buy" some major companies...Not a bad deal huh? I'm long so I love the strategy...Afterall, the beginnings of DELL's success was a competitive leverage of all the others "selling" their PC's for a loss and gouging the customer on servers, notebooks, storage....Now, the story is changing...
:o)

RE: biz.yahoo.com

Flat panels: Can't remember the actual date but I remember DELL bonding a ton of money so they could build this new plant for these screens...Giving DELL access to them at a favorable rate...Seems that DELL's management and spending is paying off...Of course, who's mentioned this positive lately?

Best, Kemble
