Link Lady, John, Will, anybaoody out there Yes it is line of sight and no sbow or fog either!~ for your amusement Many years ago a few local techies rigged a camera overlooking a parking lot and transmitted about 3/4 mile line of sight by laser picked up by a dish about three feet in diameter on the roof of their workshop. They observed someone breaking into a car and notified thae police who caught the thief in the act! I saw the system in connection with dd for a venture capitalist. Ulltimately taken over by a Nasdaq co but it was so long ago that I forgot who. It worked fine while the weather cooperqated and the iedeaa idea was to connect offices in the twin towers of the world trade center and the like.. W L
