Your post was wonderful. There must be some way to recognize these non-financial bits of whimsy.

I loved the transition from a bad market day to clerks IDing you to graduation gowns and fat bridesmaids. Reminded me of Garrison Keilor, who in two minutes can go from the Lake Wobegon Lutheran Church to strippers popping out of cakes to one-legged drunks crashing through walls while maintaining a slender connection that somehow makes sense.
