Extended Stay will begin NYSE trading

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., June 10 (Reuter) - Extended Stay
America Inc said its Board of Directors has approved a plan to
move the trading of its common stock to the New York Stock
Exchange (NYSE) within the next 30 days.
The company which began trading on NASDAQ in December 1995,
expects to be listed on the NYSE under the proposed symbol
"ESA."
George Johnson, President and Chief Executive Officer of
Extended Stay, said, "We believe that the listing on the New
York Stock Exchange will provide Extended Stay America with the
exposure necessary to continue our aggressive expansion plans."
Extended Stay operates 106 extended stay lodging
properties, which includes 38 Studio Plus Hotels, 67 Extended
Stay America Efficiency Studios and one Crossland Economy
Studios facility.
