Dave, re: "As Intel continues to push Pentium 4, the volume of [RDRAM] is picking up.

Here are some hi-lites of the Intel CC as I recall them.

I thought Otellini's CC comments regarding Brookdale were very interesting. He said, (paraphrasing), the same chip supports both SDRAM and DDR. Brookdale will be validated first for SDRAM and following that release validated for DDR. He said that Brookdale/SDRAM is on track for the peak selling season. (Interestingly, he did not give a specific time frame as to when DDR would be available).
These comments start at 16:30 into the CC replay.

A few other comments of interest. P4 1.7GHz is shipping to OEM's for April introduction. The millionth P4 was shipped in Q1. The majority of P4's shipped to date were in the consumer segment. The bulk of corporate purchases are moving from Celeron to PIII and he expects that trend to continue for the rest of the year. He again stated that P4 continues to be the fastest ramping micro-architecture that Intel has introduced. (Emphasis mine).
