I went and measured the pan and it's really 22" not 36", still big though. I hadn't seen it for years. It's big enough to scramble 3 dozen eggs at a time.

The Crisco didn't put the fire out, it caught fire. A little fat dripping on a fire makes it flare up so just imagine the fire when a quart gets dumped on.
