You are 100% correct. This is a sucker's rally. So long as the semi suppliers are hurting because their customers were irrationally exuberant in ordering inventory, there will be tech pain. Things won't change until the inventories of the CSCO's, et al, are reduced, and that won't be for a while in this slowing economy which is going to be feel further pain due to increasing energy prices. If you are a LTB&H investor, it doesn't matter. If you're a value investor/trader, stay on the sidelines with cash on hand for some really good buys in the next three to six months.
