QLogic Awarded GSA Schedule Through DLT Solutions; Partnership Enables DLT to Offer Complete SAN Solution to Government Agencies
ALISO VIEJO, Calif. & HERNDON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 18, 2001--DLT Solutions Inc., a premier government solutions partner, and QLogic Corp. (Nasdaq:QLGC), a leading provider of end-to-end storage area network (SAN) infrastructure products, today announced that QLogic's Fibre Channel SAN Solutions are now available to federal, state and local government agencies on the GSA Schedule (No. GS-35F-4543G), through DLT Solutions.
SAN solutions available on the GSA Schedule include QLogic's SANblade Fibre Channel host bus adapters (HBAs), SANbox Fibre Channel switches and high port count director products. The QLA2100, QLA2200 and QLA2300 Series SANblades offer best-in-class performance and functionality for SANs. Based on QLogic's award-winning ISP(TM) Architecture, these HBAs provide all the benefits of Fibre Channel technology, including fabric connections for hundreds of devices, bandwidth up to 400 MB/s (full duplex) and distances up to 20 kilometers.
QLogic's SANbox switches and directors provide the essential foundation for scalable high-performance SANs. Linking multiple hosts and storage resources, SANbox products create an intelligent connectivity framework to help users share and efficiently access stored data. In single- or multi-switch configurations of any size, SANbox products offer the highest switch performance in the industry. Director products, offering up to 256 ports, are engineered with integrated reliability, availability and serviceability (RAS) features, delivering true 99.999 percent availability to enterprise data centers.
The company's Fibre Channel products are backed by QLogic Reseller Connection, a unique program that provides VARs and integrators with numerous product information tools such as marketing bulletins, hardware and software compatibility listings and training. In addition, QLogic offers the ExpertLink support program that provides customers with the industry's only three-year warranty and 24-hour replacement program for Fibre Channel adapters.
"We're pleased to announce this partnership with QLogic, as their Fibre Channel SAN Solutions address our government customers' need to efficiently access large volumes of stored data," said Craig P. Abod, president of DLT Solutions. "Customers ordering QLogic's products will benefit from DLT's simplified ordering process, excellent customer support and expert sales representatives."
