Sig,
Hi!!

RE: Oops heres another one IBM ($16 bil), and I know theres another for $6 bill somewhere.
dell.com.

Yeah, the all time "acquisition"... :o) Partnering, partnering, partnering,...That's all I can remember hearing about..Whether it was at one of our briefings in Austin or in a release from a DELL executive...Michael loves to keep that cash and acquire quality with a partnership...
When this IBM deal was struck it was Jim Vanderslice that basically pushed the deal while at IBM...Interestingly his boredom (according to his daughter) has evaporated now that he has been "acquired" by DELL... :o) Great move huh OT? We get Mort to serve on the board and we replace Mort with all that IBM experience for our storage growth...Following his words closely...The guy seems rejuvenated and nothing like seeing that enthusiasm with all that experience...
Still think IBM gives it all up sometime...Many have still told me there's not much reason not to...

Best, Kemble
