What do you all think, is there a possibility that Valence has been stacking a fair amount of cells in their shipping area, ready to go? After all, they have presumably been running the line a lot in recent weeks, so what's happened to the product coming out the end? At about 2000 cells/hr x 8hrs x 5 days they could have been making about 80,000 per week. This would make it possible to deliver in some quantity right from the start, when the first OEM agreement is concluded.
And then, why would the entire top management team have been in Ireland last week? Could it be that they wanted to see, first hand, the line running flawlessly, prior to announcing production start-up? It's a press release that could have awsome consequences both positively if all goes well, and negatively if there is even a small problem or delay. I think an announcement may therefore be imminent. Meanwhile, I would never have thought I'd be buying more at these prices, but rumor has it that this stock may appreciate, and what with the sale they had today (25 cents off per stub - first come first served) I bagged me another thousand shares. Am I prone to doing weird things or what? Why, there is the distinct possibility that the mutual fund where these dollars previously resided may gain, say, about 20% this year! |
