Gene: You are stating the obvious (and I agree)....however, this does not change the need for a model, flawed as it will be, so we can all make our investing decisions based on possible financial / business outcomes, rather than slinging sh%t at each other. Then it is immaterial whether one is short or long...it's just business. No gamesmanship. BP
