Unless you think that people's choices are pretty much determined by where they are born and under whose control they live. If you think women (and girls) in the developing world have much control over whom they sleep with you are just wrong. Little girls can be sold into prostitution as young as 7 or 8. In the primarily patriarchal societies of India and Africa and poorer parts of Asia, women (and little girls) have little choice in many places about whom they sleep with. There fathers sell them or marry them to whomever they want. Their husbands can beat them if they do not provide sexual gratification upon demand. Not much of a choice. I think you know little of it.
