Please show me any sources that say Caesar was not a Roman, and a Caesar. And since we have found the bones of Romans but not the bones of God, and there are Roman artifacts and not artifacts that are clearly the work of God, it's a bit easier to say, "probably a man named Caesar lived." The problem with God, as I see it, is you are willing to say everything is proof of God, no matter what it's source. Your belief proves your belief. This kind of circular argument and self referential data acquisition method does no one outside your belief system any good at all. So worshipping Satan is proof of God (it's just another part of the elephant, after all).

There are human artifacts that purport to prove the existence of many Gods. But there are not strictly Godly artifacts that cannot be explained in human or natural terms. If there were clearly extraterrestrial artifacts, I would have less of a problem with God. After all there would be things that could not be explained in our own system- we would need to go outside the system to explain them. But most of the things old Gods explain are things explained by science now- drought, disease, famine, flood, volcanoes, etc. I suspect Steven would agree.
