re: "let me get this straight -- you really believe that Intel lost 1 to 1.5 billion on Comm chips?"

Again you misquote me to fit the needs of your argument, seems to be a habit. What I said:

Intel lost over $1Billion on about $1.5Billion in the first quarter in "other".

What do you think, that they made money in their "other business", and they are using "other business" to disguise losses in IAG, just to make AMD look bad? Nice Intel hating/AMD loving hallucination.

Back to the original discussion, Intel's comm albatross, combined with flash, has a very large effect on net margins. I suppose you will find out tonight if AMD's flash helped or hurt AMD's net margins. And then if you want to do the analysis, based on the companies published numbers, not some paranoid fantasy about "other" being IAG, you can find out who is the microprocessor low cost producer. Who knows, at this point in time, it could easily be AMD.

Your bias is so pronounced that you change company reports as quickly as you change what people say, to fit your argument.
