HI Nadiam; For AOL on insiders.com:
For May I found 19 insiders filed 144s for a total
of 541,672 shares, and so far for up to june6th another 6 filed
to sell 69,917 shares. I do not seen were they have sold any
of them yet. They have the froms filed so my guess is this run
up is being done by some one working close to them, it looks
like OK you guys I'll run it up, you'l sell into the rally,
then release some bad news after the bell, were I can dump what
I bought to run it up. I don't know but a tolal of 25 144s
does not show much faith in AOL. Any way thats over 600,000
total..which in looking at her volume you may say that don't
look like a lot. Keep in mind that the short interest is very
very high on this stock, and often shorters are in and out
fast, ( often within hours ) working the daily volitility,
and my best estimate of the volume you see on AOL is that maybe
a tenth of it is real, the rest is just one short seller,
selling to another one who is covering his position, it's like
they are swaping, but it's all with borrowed stock..or the most
of it is. So when that 600,000 shares of real stock hits the market
it should cause a fair dip. Most of the shares were registerd back
when she was 47..the last batch at 50..now that she is 60 I'm
guessing they are getting antsy..but must have an aggrement amoung
them selves for some sort of signal, other wise at least some of
them would have sold by now. I don't think they went to the troble
of filing 144s just to hang onto the stock.
