Neo, If I were to guess, it is in order to prevent a lot of hearsay from shady characters being circulated as fact....... The Reps spent about 2 years conducting shady hearings with shady characters testifying against Bill Clinton, culminating in the release of pornographic literature to America's children on the Internet. They obviously don't mind these sorts of things when they feel they have something to gain politically. How about Newt and Bob attacking Clinton on the Today show several hours after his mother had died? Was that a display of character? Scumbria
