I've been burned by nvidia before, on the short side. The company is a well-oiled machine. The only way to get them on the short side is just by playing the valuation game. And the fact that they're constantly coming out with exciting new successful technology (and plenty of hype to go with it) has a tendency to keep their valuations rich. The company itself is a gorilla and it's gonna stay that way for a while.

The only weak link, in my opinion, is the XBox. If their valuations are still sky-high when the XBox hits the market, I'd consider going short.
