Mary, I don't think it was meant that way. I was taking this out of context of the overall conversation. The chuckle was that they found out from a caller who thought it was fact. The chuckle was a caller did not want to belive that the rumor was false. That the caller know more than Ed Bramson. She was commenting about how some people seem to take rumors as fact.
