It's easy for me to understand how the early 70's happened (and the 30's) while watching the WS BS Show unfold. The mania, the journalism slant, the cheerleading, the rhetoric, the accounting scams, the transfer of wealth. This generation leading the US will turn off the next to investing. That's what ticks me off the most, the realization that when the bottom does arrive, nobody will give a rats arse, and it will likely be quite some time before WS is a great place to invest again.
