All, CDN has stated that it sees itself as the EDA leader.
Others in the field would include MENT and SNPS in some sort of
technology team aimed primarily at getting into CDN's market share.
However Mentor Graphics suffers from lack of technological invovation
and as stated before, weak corporate leadership.
With CDN's recent aquisition of CCT, look for future dominence in
EDA to come from software tools and design services.
