JRI, Please calm down. I made it clear that it wasn't my idea. Just trying to share some information. I believe it was stated clearly that comparison was made with SP 500's tech weighting. Some of Fido's largest funds, ie. Magellan, doesn't specify any investment inclination in their by-laws. However, it may take on the fund manager's style and thus possess a certain characterstics. The StreetCom article quoted Robert Stansky, Magellan's manager, as saying that he had been lowering the tech weighting for sometime. Please get all details from Cramer's article if you are intersted. I only had a passing interest in things of this sort. Hope this helps. Ibexx
