Obviously P4 and Athlon will hit 3GHz as process technology advances.

The problem with P4 is that it should be close to 3GHz right now. If you insist on misquoting me, I'm not going to waste my time talking with you anymore.

Don't get so sensitive - cheer up. At what speed will both K7 and P4 top out at on 0.18 or 0.13? Can you you give me any quantifiable prediction about the MHz headroom of either part? Do you recall the K7 having twice as long a pipeline as the K6? I think the K7 was around 15% - 20% faster than the fastest K6 at the time of launch. According to your standards, it should have been a 1GHz launch.

I've noticed most of your predictions are pretty ambiguous. You seem to be very proud of them though. Don't worry, everyone is wrong a lot of the time.

It is very easy to appear right, when what you say is wishy-washy. I fear there will never be a clear-cut prediction from you. Please prove me wrong.
