Do you recall the K7 having twice as long a pipeline as the K6? I think the K7 was around 10% - 15% faster than the fastest K6 at the time of launch.

K7 was almost 200% K6 clock speed within 3 months of the launch. I have an Athlon 750 MHz shirt from MPF in October, 1999. There were 1GHz parts by December.

I've noticed most of your predictions are pretty ambiguous
