I think any Sony deal will be a partnership of limited scope and not the comprehensive spin-off that its being reported as. You seem to be disappointed a tad that Ericsson has not decided to completely exit the handset business. Do you believe that it's beyond repair and that they're just wasting good money attempting to fix it. They have stated reasons for desiring to stay in the business for marketing purposes that seem sound to me. If they did exit the handset market, then they'd be like Nortel, which isn't good.
