I've been a big fan of MXT and made some very nice money on it over the last year. However I've been selling lately for two reasons. First, as you indicate there are some very solid oil and gas trusts around which are paying a better return than MXT (and are more heavily weighted to the gas side). Secondly I was not terribly impressed with MXT's year-end report. Aside from the write-down of certain assets, I still don't have a real clear understanding of how profitable the Weyburn partnership interest is to MXT. I have never been impressed with the information provided by MXT in respect to this interest.

Anyone looking at the discount on MXP - which is being acquired by PVE.UN at $7.00, or .63 of a PVE unit. MXP presently trades at around $6.80. PVE is at $11.65.
