cobalt...agree with you, but you can't get 100% of one product from a barrel of crude, which is what some may believe.....

distillation separates from light to heavy (gas, naptha,gasoline.kerosene,diesel,lubricating,heavy oil, residual) and at the most about 40% in gasoline...the next process is the cracking, which can yield about 10% more in gasoline.....by the time you get to coke, there exists no more volatiles....
