Thanks for starting this thread FaultLine. I’ve seen McMillan’s book recommended. Is this the “manual”, so to speak, for options? Any other books that folks can recommend, with a particular emphasis on covered call writing, that might be of help?

I haven’t dabbled in options up 'til now and, as such, would consider myself a true newbie. I’d like to generate some income and am looking at cc writing as a possible vehicle.

Most of the contributors to this thread appear to be far more experienced in this area than yours truly, so I look forward to listening and learning. Thanks for providing a valuable addition to SI. This forum is a wonderful idea.

I suppose I should warn you in advance that some of my questions may be super elementary. Perhaps I need the Dummies' Guide to The Covered Calls for Dummies Thread???

Bear with me! :-) And thanks again.
