ARXX is really moving out......chip stocks have been strong.... I like this comment from Tony Dwyer from earlier today: When you look at yesterday's action, all you can say is – WOW. This is truly a historic environment on both the down and up side. This market is going to be referred to for some time, kind of like when you watch the weather report and the weatherperson announces what the record high and low readings were for that day. The thing that amazes me is how quickly one man can go from being Godlike, to being considered the devil incarnate, to being considered god-like. All I heard or read in the financial press over the past few days is how Fed Chairman Greenspan wrecked the economy and had lost touch with reality. Yesterday he was again being complimented for being so wise as to cut interest rates when no one expected it -– so much for focusing on the now media driven fed funds futures contracts. A couple years ago, not many knew they existed and now my friends all ask me what they suggest the Fed is going to do.
